• Laura Kate Dale reviews a humorous ska band. Also (nsfw at link, obviously) a kegel exerciser that works as a videogame controller because the future is now, apparently.
• The Black Emporium Exchange, a Dragon Age Rarepair exchange, is open for sign ups until Aug 11. I'm really looking forward to it.
• An interesting article of Joshua Harris of 'I Kissed Dating Goodbye' fame, leaving Christianity. It's an interesting read, about why people are still angry with him, despite his change of heart. (Quite reasonably.) Though I do feel like the article misses one important detail: If you leave Christianity, you can't expect other people who have left, and have been hurt by what you did to... forgive you in the way Christianity expects. You've kinda backed out that deal there.
• A Youtube video on why a particularly good language making AI wasn't released to the public. Short version: it wasn't released because the creators were worried about fake news, as a lot of places reported, but because that AI could create very hard to detect spambots.
• Most of my recent bookmarks are varyingly about skarns, or the Gale Crater on Mars. I guess this is my life now?
