I have finished Mo Dao Zu Shi! I really enjoyed it. I can't describe it in detail without being spoilers, but it has a lot of a particular character type/archetype I really like (flippantly : "yes, yes, they did a lot of bad things, but have you considered how Justified/Shiny their motive was?") I've started working on a fic for it! ...which I also can't describe without spoilers, because its based on a fact about a character that is only revealed in the last few chapters.

I have also been playing more Guild Wars 2, and having a lot of fun. I've even been making progress in the story I have been procrastinating on playing for... literal years. I've also got to try out the Mad King's Labyrinth, and that's been a lot of fun. I'm getting to run around with a bunch of other players, fighting large groups of mobs and making hella profit, [clenches fist with sparkling eyes] just like Orr in the before times.

Guild Wars 2 is a game with a lot of nostalgia for me. I bought it on launch day actually and have been playing inconsistently ever since. The 'inconsistently' part is because it is the game where I have had the worst combinations of circumstances that stop me from playing.

One of those was the purchase of my new computer. You see, the email attached to my main account exploded at some point (I am still unclear on what exactly happened, but I do not have access to that email any more.) And I forgot my password. I'd set the client to remember my password on my old computer, so I could still log in there, but I couldn't on the new one. --Until I found out that you can email support and ask them to change your email address if you gave them some info to prove you are the real Slim Shady, and that you get a complimentary password change with your email change.

So I have access again!

I've been having ?fun?. I'm not sure how much of it is nostalgia and how much of it is pure fun, and I'm also in the awkward stage of "once upon a time I knew what these buttons did, but not any more!" But overall I think I'm having fun. (Though I do miss doing group events in Orr :( ).
