Hello, person who has matched with me, or is treating me! No matter what you make, I'm probably going to really like it, but I know it's much easier to come up with an idea if you've got some guidance.

Length of prompts is not related to how much I like any character or group, and more related to how much I can ramble about them off the top of my head. Also, feel free to do whatever you want. If for example, I mention wanting fluff for a character, but you have an angsty idea you really want to do, go for it!

Heaven Will Be Mine is a visual novel available for 15 USD and is about 6 hours long depending on how fast you read.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal is 20 episodes of 65 minutes each (~22 hours total.) It is available with English subtitles on Viki, and requires either a subscription or free trial to watch.

Witchcraft SMP is a youtube series. There is a playlist with episodes from Scott’s (the character I requested) POV, and is about 4 hours long.

General Likes:

• I like the whole gamut from fluff with a minor conflict to angst that gets resolved to completely tragic tragedies. - Tragedies that are inevitable and tragedies where the ground work for them was laid well before anyone could predict the tragic outcome, so as soon as the characters know a tragic outcome is a possibility it is too late, are both very good. - As are bittersweet endings, or angst with a happy ending
• Hurt/comfort - I like comforters who are being/trying to be relentlessly practical, or who express their care for the comfortee through actions more than words. - comforters and comfortees trying to be stoic (and not necessarily succeeding). - comforters and comfortees pretending that what is going on has nothing to do with one of them being hurt, they’re just being randomly nice/ they’re not hurt at all! - comfort after nightmares/panic attacks/other PTSD symptoms is very good. Especially nightmares. (Nightmares are such a good vehicle for revealing things about a character.) - As is comfort after more recent traumatic events, such as tending injuries after a battle or a character has been rescued from captivity
• I am a big fan of the hurt being a character having a minor illness or injury that isn’t particularly concerning but does make them feel miserable
  • wound tending is also great h/c. I love the intimacy of dressing wounds, it’s so good.
• Mutual pining/wanting to get together but not be able because [reason], with [reason] being resolved at the end (example reasons: mistaken identity, “I am your boss and it would be unethical”, but in general I am not picky about this dynamic)
  • (Or, of course “I should not take advantage of you!” “You are very much not taking advantage of me, what are you talking about?”)
• Kissing! Forehead kisses, kisses on the cheek, full on make outs: kissing is great!
• Cuddling! I feel the same way about cuddling as I do about kissing! It’s all good. I especially like characters falling asleep leaning against each other. Or characters holding each other, or a character resting their cheek or chin against the other.
• I like exploring the messed up dynamics and/or the terrible-idea-ness of the relationship, if applicable.
• Characters giving into temptation, eg knowing that a particular relationship is a bad idea, or would be breaking their vow of chastity, but going into it anyway.
• Politics! I love characters trying to navigate it, the tension between their political persona and they’re actual persona, the ethical dilemmas of power, all of it!
• Loyalty, fealty, feudalism, ‘is it gay or just feudalism?’. Dramatic expression of loyalty. Intense loyalties, conflicted loyalties: they're all good.
• Two characters sharing a body
• Dancing, either partner dances or just both people happening to dance at the same time.
• Hair, hair brushing and hair braiding.
• Crossdressing

• Religion, religious discussions and worldbuilding about religion.

  • I am not invested in any particular religion being right or wrong in a given particular fictional work or world, and I am happy with whatever interpretation you would like to pick. I’ll be thrilled either way!

• Horses! Whether they're just in the background, or are a major part of the art/plot. I love horses. You cannot go wrong with horses. Do not be intimidated, I do not expect Wealths of Equine Knowledge fics. If there is horse there, and it gets patted or ridden, I will be very happy.

• “What if X happened instead of what happened in canon?”/”What if Y didn’t die?”/canon divergence AUs

• Geology. Plot relevant rocks, people giving each other rocks, rampant geological symbolism: it’s all good.

• As a general note: anything I’ve mentioned in my general likes (or smut likes), I also like in art. I’ve copied over most of the relevant likes over here as well, so they’re easy to find, but if there’s something in the above list that takes your fancy as something to put in art, go right ahead!
• I am big fan on drawings/re-drawings of canon scenes. If you’ve got a moment in canon you’ve been dying to draw, I would love to see it.

Heaven Will Be Mine

Ladies kissin’ each other, and explorations of what it means to be The Other and how to respond to it... IN SPACE!

I love the worldbuilding, and all the implications that circle around the fact that is space reality is defined by whoever has the strongest personality. The way that being one of the space kids is a metaphor for being queer, and the way you can look at those sorts of things at different angles through metaphor, while at the same time all the major characters are non-metaphorically queer.

Also, ladies kissin’ in giant robots is cool.

As a general non-character specific prompt, I’d be interested in post canon fluff or h/c for any of the endings. I’d also be interested in exploring the romantic and non-romantic relationships the characters had pre-canon.

I am happy for fic featuring any subset of the requested characters.

Luna-Terra

Romantic relationships I like: LT/Saturn, LT/Pluto, LT/Pluto/Saturn

Gen relationships I like: LT & Mars, LT & Europa

I love the layers to her. She’s Memorial Foundation’s unflappable ace—who can barely feel tides and is deeply confused why so many people look up to her. Her identity is heavily constructed, and the way she appears on the outside and the way she feels are often very different, and I love that tension.

And I love how she professes to be the most realistic of the major cast, by siding with the powerhouse of Memorial Foundation, but she’s just as idealistic as Pluto when it comes down to it.

Pluto

Romantic relationships I like: LT/Pluto, Pluto/Saturn, Pluto/Saturn/LT, Pluto/Mars

Gen relationships I like: Pluto & Mars, Pluto & Dr Nix, Pluto & Neith

I love idealistic characters. I love characters who are trying to live up to a messiah archetype, even though they are fallible and human and cannot completely succeed. I love powerful characters, the Mary Sues that can make the narrative whatever they want to be with a smile. I love characters who explicitly have to work on being human, on being more than human in the best ways.

It is no surprise I love Pluto.

I like the way that the image she projects, the all-loving princess of Cradle’s Graces, both matches and does not match who she actually is.

I love that in her end, she ends up making the ‘selfish’ decision, does what she wants, instead of the closest approximation of what all of humanity wants.

She’s great, is what I’m saying.

Saturn

Romantic relationships I like: LT/Saturn, Pluto/Saturn, Pluto/Saturn/LT,

Gen relationships I like: Saturn & Mercury, Saturn & Iapetus

She’s snarky, she’ll fight you, she can do awesome maths, she’ll grab you with both hands to make sure you pay attention to her. I love this incredible chaos muppet. I also love how this “I do what I want, screw what you want!” attitude is so different than how she used to be, that she used to be well behaved and then saw where that got her (it didn’t get her a ship, that’s for sure!) I’d be interested in fic that explored how she got to be the person who she currently is, or fic set in the present or future that deals with the fact that she’s a very different person than she once was, and that old self still have some gravity.

She’s an agent of chaos and hedonism and “screw you!” transhumanism and I love it.

(Though in the any of the endings, she needs to get Mercury a gift basket of some sort, because he deserves it after dealing with her in an official capacity.)

Sungkyunkwan Scandal

I am a big fan of cross dressing narratives, and all gender/gender performance/gender role stuff they bring up. I also really like the tone of Sungkyunkwan Scandal, with it's soapy high drama. I also am a sucker for the historical setting-- if you have a fic that is actually an excuse to go on about this super cool thing you found out about 1790s Joseon, feel free to take this request as an excuse.

Kim Yoon Hee and Moon Jae Shin

Gen relationships I like: Kim Yoon Hee & Moon Jae Shin, the Jalgeum Quartet

Romantic relationships I like: Kim Yoon Hee/Moon Jae Shin, Kim Yoon Hee/Moon Jae Shin/Lee Sun Joon, Kim Yoon Hee/Moon Jae Shin/Lee Sun Joon/Gu Yong Ha

I love the relationship dynamic between these two goobers. The way Moon Jae Shin cannot admit to having an emotion, so will kidnap Kim Yoon Shik to give him first aid, and the way he is secretly super supportive once he find out Kim Yoon Shik is a woman. I also love how Kim Yoon Shik tries to give back as good as she gets and teases him in a friendly way, and helps patch up his wounds.

Some random prompts:

• I would love some h/c with these two, bonus points for wound tending h/c. (I love wound tending.) I’d be interested in missing scene fic from during canon, or post canon fic where one or the other goes to where the other is and goes “...you’re the only one I can trust to deal with this.”
  • Something I’d be interested in with hurt!Moon Jae Shin in particular: he gets injured a lot, and then immediately bounces back up, and that seems… unsustainable. I’d be interested in fic about the long term impacts of him getting injured so much as Hong Byuk Seo, or fic about him not letting himself recover for long enough and then crashing a week later.
• [historically inaccurate mumblemumble] There’s an equestrian competition at Sungkyunkwan, but oh no! Kim Yoon Shik doesn’t know how to ride, and if he doesn’t win the tournament, something terrible will happen! Moon Jae Shin has to step into teach her.
• Canon divergence: Kim Yoon Shik finds out Moon Jae Shin knows she’s a woman earlier in the story. How does she react?
• Canon divergence: if you are feeling like being shippy, I’d be interested in a canon divergence fic about them getting together. Or you could skip the explanation and go straight to the post canon romantic fluff. I like both ideas.

Top 5 Rat Movies I Made Up - JP Brammer: Legends of the Great Below

Rat Girl Hero

So, there are two directions you can go with this, and I am equally hype for both of them.

One: I would be interested in a scene from the imaginary movie. Maybe the Rat Girl Hero setting out on her quest, having a dramatic confrontation with her father, or being knighted by the Queen. I would love that sort of “missing scene” fic.

Two: I love things written for/about imaginary fandoms. I love fan fiction written for movies that aren’t real. I love meta and shipping manifestos and arguments written for fake fandoms that don’t actually exist, and this fandom would be great for that. Some suggestions:

• Maybe in the direct to dvd special, there’s a vaguely antagonistic mostly rivalrous girl mouse, who migratory femslash fandom fell in love with. A fic or shipping manifesto would be great
• Or fix it fic between the Girl Rat Hero and her father (or “oh god I hate all these saccharine fix it fics, I’m going to make it worse” fics.)
• Meta about how the movie is a reverse journey into the underworld, with lots of cthonic motifs reversed, and it is that deep, damnit. (Fan #2: “It really isn’t that deep.” Fan #1 “It is that deep, I have citations!”)
• I’d be interested in worldbuilding of the story itself (eg a snippet of an in universe setting bible, a fic or discussion about the economics of the rat kingdom) or of the imaginary fandom around it (“Gather round, ye fanlings, for the tale of RatPrincess97 and how she dissolved the fandom into drama with just one fic...”)

We Know the Devil

I love the character dynamics in this, and the ambient suckitude going on in their lives (excluding after the True Ending), the huge personal revelations happening in the middle of the night at summer camp. I also love the nightmare-logic Protestantism going on. As someone who likes bad things happening to characters that maybe get made better, and religious themes, this is very much a canon made for me!

And did I mention the characters? I love them all, especially Venus. They are the best worst girls. I love the layers to them, and how they are all more than what they initially seem to be. There all observant, and they care deeply about wrong and right, but they don’t necessarily have the power to change things (until the true ending, that is.) And they all need a hug. I like psychological/religious/body horror aspects of canon, and the implied story of having to work out how to live your life after the revelation of being the Devil.

I am quite happy for fic or art for any of the routes/endings

Venus

Gen Relationships I Like: Venus & Neptune, Venus & Jupiter, Venus & Jupiter & Neptune

Romantic Relationships I Like: Venus/Neptune, Venus/Jupiter, Venus/Jupiter/Neptune

I love Venus, she’s my favourite! I love how perceptive she is (especially with the ways she’s sometimes more perceptive about others than herself) and her nervousness and fear of authority. Overall, she’s just such a great character. I’d be interested in both pre and post canon things for her.

For Venus/Jupiter, I love the dynamic they have as the ‘best’ kids of Group West, who are really bad at being actually good. They may seem more good from the outside than Neptune, but... And the Seven Minutes In Heaven scene, with it’s horrible awkwardness and the tension between what they want to want and what they actually do and the near strangulation is so good. As is the conversation they have about authority and not having to touch someone to touch them.

For Venus/Neptune, just as Venus+Jupiter is the better kids vs the bad kid, Venus+Neptune is the bad kids vs the good kid who failed, and that’s so good. And I love how insightful they are with each other even if they don’t fully get it (eg the “your kindness will be full of that want” conversation, while Venus is trying to comfort Neptune as best she can.) And the contrast between rule breaking Neptune and “That’s! I’m! Illegal!” Venus is so great too.

And I love all three, and I love them all being in a relationship. The way they work together, the way in the true ending they all lift each other up and try to make the camp/the world a better place, being the worst girls since Eve... It’s so good, I love it.

Witchcraft SMP

Scott

Gen relationships I like: Scott & any of the other player characters

Romantic Relationships I like: Scott/Milo

I love w!Scott so much. (For the rest of this letter, assume I am talking about the fictional witch and not the real youtuber.) He’s driven by a need to bring his dead husband back, he starts a kidnap basement and human sacrifice operation about it, and there’s the question of whether his husband would even want this-- and then it works. He gets his husband back, and no comeuppance, and his husband seems fairly chill about all this.

Also, I am sucker for ridiculously power hungry characters, and also necromancers.

• I love the changes that happen to Scott as he continues his journey as a necromancer, and the way he brushes off the physical ones as no big deal in the pursuit of power. I’d love a fic that explored what if felt like.
• The whole “I don’t need to sleep, because sleeping is just a weakness and vulnerability. Nightmares? What nightmares?” thing is great. I’d love fic about Scott getting increasingly tired and twitchy, and even if he does not strictly need to sleep, he still feels it
• In general I love fic that is “well, this would be the start of a h/c fic if this character wasn’t so completely isolated :)” and would love it for Scott
• How does it feel to have a curse of Apathy? And then do multiple human sacrifices and fight multiple demons and not have it work, all while being cursed?
• I’d be interested in post canon fic about him and Milo. How does he deal with losing his magic, seeing as he was so focused on it as a tool for bringing Milo back? What’s it like having Milo back? (For Milo, no time has passed, but for Scott, it’s been years, and he is deeply aware that if he loses Milo again, he can’t get him back. And even with Milo back, there’s still the nightmares--) Does Milo ever find out about the lengths Scott went to get him back (there was several human sacrifices in the ritual to bring him back alone!) and how does he feel about it. (...and what does happen to the people in the kidnap basement?)
• Tying into the kidnap basement, I’d be interested in fic that looks at the ~gap between the witches and villagers. They are all people, but the witches can die and come back in a way villagers can’t, and have powers that a villager could never hope to have, etc.
