Little Black Dress 2024 Letter

Hello, person who has matched with me, or is treating me! No matter what you make, I'm probably going to really like it, but I know it's much easier to come up with an idea if you've got some guidance.
Length of prompts is not related to how much I like any character or group, and more related to how much I can ramble about them off the top of my head.
My ao3 account and my tumblr are both wolffyluna, if you want to have a look at them to get ideas.
Notes To Potential Pinch Hitters: If my requests go to pinch hits, and you are a pinch hitter who is looking to pick up one of the canons I requested, thank you! And I hope you like whatever you end up picking up.
For Warhammer 40k, I am requesting Prince Yriel. You can get most of the information on him through the Asuryani and Iyeldan codices, and the novel 'Valedor' by Guy Haley. (Also, in an unusual exception to the 'don't write wiki fic' rule, most of his canon is actually on the various 40k wikis. You could write fic based on that and it would work.)
Heaven Will Be Mine is a visual novel available for $15 USD and is about 6 hours long depending on how fast you read.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a turn based rpg available for $60 USD, and it’s length is variable depending on how completionist you are, but is usually about 80 hours per run. I wouldn’t recommend trying to pick it up for a pinch hit, but you do you?

Fandoms:
- I like the whole gamut from fluff with a minor conflict to angst that gets resolved to completely tragic tragedies. - Tragedies that are inevitable and tragedies where the ground work for them was laid well before anyone could predict the tragic outcome, so as soon as the characters know a tragic outcome is a possibility it is too late, are both very good. - As are bittersweet endings, or angst with a happy ending
- Hurt/comfort - I like comforters who are being/trying to be relentlessly practical, or who express their care for the comfortee through actions more than words. - comforters and comfortees trying to be stoic (and not necessarily succeeding). - comforters and comfortees pretending that what is going on has nothing to do with one of them being hurt, they’re just being randomly nice/ they’re not hurt at all! - comfort after nightmares/panic attacks/other PTSD symptoms is very good. Especially nightmares. (Nightmares are such a good vehicle for revealing things about a character.) - As is comfort after more recent traumatic events, such as tending injuries after a battle or a character has been rescued from captivity
- I am a big fan of the hurt being a character having a minor illness or injury that isn’t particularly concerning but does make them feel miserable
- wound tending is also great h/c. I love the intimacy of dressing wounds, it’s so good.
- Mutual pining/wanting to get together but not be able because [reason], with [reason] being resolved at the end (example reasons: mistaken identity, “I am your boss and it would be unethical”, but in general I am not picky about this dynamic)
- (Or, of course “I should not take advantage of you!” “You are very much not taking advantage of me, what are you talking about?”)
- Kissing! Forehead kisses, kisses on the cheek, full on make outs: kissing is great!
- Cuddling! I feel the same way about cuddling as I do about kissing! It’s all good. I especially like characters falling asleep leaning against each other. Or characters holding each other, or a character resting their cheek or chin against the other.
- I like exploring the messed up dynamics and/or the terrible-idea-ness of the relationship, if applicable.
- Characters giving into temptation, eg knowing that a particular relationship is a bad idea, or would be breaking their vow of chastity, but going into it anyway.
- Politics! I love characters trying to navigate it, the tension between their political persona and they’re actual persona, the ethical dilemmas of power, all of it!
- Loyalty, fealty, feudalism, ‘is it gay or just feudalism?’. Dramatic expression of loyalty. Intense loyalties, conflicted loyalties: they're all good.
- Two characters sharing a body
- Dancing, either partner dances or just both people happening to dance at the same time.
- Hair, hair brushing and hair braiding.
- Crossdressing
Religion, religious discussions and worldbuilding about religion.
- I am not invested in any particular religion being right or wrong in a given particular fictional work or world, and I am happy with whatever interpretation you would like to pick. I’ll be thrilled either way!
- I am interested in this for both fictional and real world religions
Horses! Whether they're just in the background, or are a major part of the art/plot. I love horses. You cannot go wrong with horses. Do not be intimidated, I do not expect Wealths of Equine Knowledge fics. If there is horse there, and it gets patted or ridden, I will be very happy.
- Pet rats
- “What if X happened instead of what happened in canon?”/”What if Y didn’t die?”/canon divergence AUs
- Crying
- Geology. Plot relevant rocks, people giving each other rocks, rampant geological symbolism: it’s all good.
- Third and second person POV
- As a general note: anything I’ve mentioned in my general likes (or smut likes), I also like in art. I’ve copied over most of the relevant likes over here as well, so they’re easy to find, but if there’s something in the above list that takes your fancy as something to put in art, go right ahead!
- I am big fan on drawings/re-drawings of canon scenes. If you’ve got a moment in canon you’ve been dying to draw, I would love to see it.
- Kissing! Forehead kisses, kisses on the cheek, full on make outs: kissing is great!
- Cuddling! I feel the same way about cuddling as I do about kissing! It’s all good. I especially like characters falling asleep leaning against each other.
- Characters resting their heads against each other
- Hair, hair brushing and hair braiding.
- Crying
- For art, I like coloured lighting and unusual/restricted palettes.
- I also like intense colours and contrast in art
- I like both digital and traditional art
- Dancing, either partner dances or just both people happening to dance at the same time.
- Horses! Whether they're just in the background, or are a major part of the art/plot. I love horses
- Pet rats
- Crossdressing
- Symbolic representations of relationship dynamics
- Tarot style or tarot inspired art
- Pixel art
- Comics
- Oral, intercrural, anal, vaginal sex and all forms of frottage are good
- I like cuddly sex and emphasis on the characters being in contact with each other
- People being supernaturally horny, for example sex pollen or omegaverse/heatverses.
- All consuming heats that take over people’s brains are also very very good, especially if they are intermixed with being overwhelmed.
- Also deliberate use of sex pollen, either by the people sex pollenening themselves, or an antagonist doing it
- In omegaverse, I like knots and ludicrous amounts of slick, but can take or leave omega oppression/gender roles, claiming and scent stuff.
- All consuming heats that take over people’s brains are also very very good, especially if they are intermixed with being overwhelmed.
- Rope bondage.
- Explicit negotiation. (Even deeply dorky negotiation)
- Consentacles
- Hair kink/focus on hair.
- Praise kink
- Sadism and masochism/painplay. Anything a character can reasonably heal from in their setting Is fair game
- Ritual sex/deliberately public sex (ie, the public intended to be there to watch)
- Exhibitionism where the audience is consenting
- Consensual free use, in the sense of a character being sexually available to whoever (though maybe only in specific circumstances eg at a specific party)
- “Forced” orgasms, multiple orgasms, orgasm control/denial, and chastity kink
- Crossdressing
- Sex toys and fucking machines
- Overstimulation/being overwhelmed with sensation. ‘Getting fucked out of their brains’
- Crying, either due to overstimulation or due to high emotions
- Size kink, both of the large penises/dildos/penetrating things and the small penises/dildos/penetrating things varieties.
- stomach bulges are a lovely bonus to ‘very big’ size kink
- but small does have the appeal of “and we do not have to think very hard about how were are going to get this into the relevant place”
- ‘Thank God We Lived’ Sex
- D/s, especially when the dom is of a more caring flavour
- Torture being portrayed as effective/achieving goals/morally good
- Impregnation/pregnancy risk
- if there is a mention of some sort of birth control, even if it just the pull out method, you will have avoided my dnw.
- Explicit underage (<18) sex
- Daddy kink/ mommy kink / family terms being used in sex
- Explicit descriptions of needles or hooks going into people.
- sibling or parental incest
- Noncanon institutionalisation, slavery or imprisonment
- Baldur's Gate 3 specific: Ulder Ravengard or Mystra being deliberately malicious
I love these spiky weirdos with universally tragic backstories. They have such fun dynamics with each other. I love characters being pushed way out of their comfort zones by trying to solve a parasite problem and then having to save the world, and in fic I love the aftermath of dealing with that.
I’m also a sucker for the high fantasy weirdness of the Forgotten Realms.
NB: I have not quite finished the game as of writing this letter. I should be finished by the time fics are revealed. I do not care about being spoiled, I merely note this so if you are reading these prompts going “but what about X?” it’s likely because I haven’t got up to X.
Shadowheart
I love Shadowheart early in the game, full of secrets and holes in her memory and a faith in Shar that she has by rote because what else does she have of her identity? (Love me a girl with faith. Love me a girl with religious trauma.) I love how she can turn either against or to Shar and the way that ripples through her characterisation.
Also I am generally a sucker for h/c with Shadowheart, either with her as the comforter or the comforted.
Wyll and F!Wyll
I love Wyll, and his tendency towards self sacrifice and deliberately trying to live up to a heroic archetype. And the guilt! I am a sucker for the guilt, of either killing Karlach or of nearly killing Karlach and having to spend the rest of his life visibly a devil. I also love how he deliberately tries to be a fairy tale romantic partner.
I am also a sucker for looking at the ways Wyll would be similar or different if he was a woman, thus the F!Wyll request. I do not mind either cis!F!Wyll or trans!F!Wyll.
Ladies kissin’ each other, and explorations of what it means to be The Other and how to respond to it... IN SPACE!
I love the worldbuilding, and all the implications that circle around the fact that is space reality is defined by whoever has the strongest personality. The way that being one of the space kids is a metaphor for being queer, and the way you can look at those sorts of things at different angles through metaphor, while at the same time all the major characters are non-metaphorically queer.
Also, ladies kissin’ in giant robots is cool.
Luna-Terra
I love the layers to her. She’s Memorial Foundation’s unflappable ace—who can barely feel tides and is deeply confused why so many people look up to her. Her identity is heavily constructed, and the way she appears on the outside and the way she feels are often very different, and I love that tension.
And I love how she professes to be the most realistic of the major cast, by siding with the powerhouse of Memorial Foundation, but she’s just as idealistic as Pluto when it comes down to it.
In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war—and epic scales and incredible badass-ery. One of the things I love about 40k is just how grand scale and big things can get, and how the inevitable crushing darkness and decay of the universe gets used a set piece to make the main characters even more epic and badass. Your Craftworld may be facing total destruction—but that just means you have the narrative backing to go stab the hive tyrant. It’s always thirty seconds to midnight, and the brakes on the disaster train are off.
I also just love sci-fi kitchen sink space operas.
Prince Yriel
Yriel is just so great, and comes in two great flavours. First, you have Yriel as the pirate prince. Tactical maverick, chip on his shoulder about exiling himself from Iyanden, and has an excuse to take his brakes totally off. He is epic and piratical and angry and lil’ bit amoral and it is so good.
But then you have him after he returns, and after he takes up the Spear of Twilight. And then he still is a brilliant TACTICAL GENIUS who gets to do epic feats of badassery—but now he is doomed to be consumed by the Spear. And he’s slowly becoming a worse version of himself, who is angry and in pain all the time and who is only really functional during war—and it hits all my whump loving buttons. He just suffers so aesthetically!
Plus the Doomed if he does and Doomed if he doesn’t aspect of how both his presence and absence damaged Iyanden is so good.
Note: Valedor by Guy Haley has some Yriel content that includes actual direct dialogue and narrative and all that good stuff. But equally, the Warhammer 40k wikia is also plenty to go on. (NB: For peeps new to Warhammer, canon reviews via wiki makes more sense than it does for other canons.)
