October is the awkwardist month
Oct. 4th, 2019 06:21 pmOctober is shaping up to be an awkward confluence of a lot of things I need to get done for uni (prepping for finals, writing the goddamned economic geology report, and a blessedly short plantary presentation) and stuff I want to do for fun (inktober, writing a gift fic/exchange treat, NaNo prep), and I'm starting to realise I'm going to have to let some plates drop. And the plates that are gonna get dropped are probably going to be some in the 'for fun' catergory.
Which is... fun.
(I want to inktober! It's fun! I really like doing stuff with markers, but I keep forgetting it's an option I have when it's not october! ...but it's also the fun thing I keep getting stuck on, because I don't know what to draw/don't have a plan. So. Gah.)
(Also not helping the 'eek, too many tasks!' I have to pick where I'm going for Christmas, and while I'd normally talk out similar tricky decisions with my family, "which branch of the family will I see this Christmas" is probably not one that's a brilliant idea to have such a discussion. Which is making the decision much more difficult and argghhhhh.)
