It's NaNoWriMo for me tomorrow! I My current plan is to do the Fast Fifty-K Fic Queue Clearing FestivalThe rough priority order being:
- NiF Exchange Fic
- Yuletide fic
- The embarassingly delayed Ningxian gift fic for westwind, featuring post nightmare h/c and such like.
- Finishing the Jingyan sick fic. I am so close to the end of the first draft I can taste it, and despite being the first NiF fic I started, it’s probably going to be the fourth finished.
_ - Fic queue clearing yet to be determined. Imperial Coroner fics including the trans!Jing Yi fic? Wu Xi accidentally poisoning himself via pipetting by mouth? Trying to unstick the mdzs longfic wips such as? We shall see
I am aware with NaNo you are mostly competing with oneself, but I do want to check if other people think this is within the spirit: The NiF exchange fic is a completed first draft, it's up to the editing stage I usually take three editing passes, and count each editing pass as being equivalent to (total words in fic)/3, ie that going from first draft to complete is equivalent to writing out however many words the complete version is. Does that sound reasonable to other people?
