More NaNoWriMo Thinky Thoughts:

• 'write an original novel in a month' is a distinct challenge from 'write 50k of short fiction in a month' vs 'write a fan novel' in a month, and I would like to try it... though i have, uh. already booked myself to write yuletide and hearts' fics during NaNo, and my novel ideas are vague, so I'm not sure how like. possible this is as a plan? Though I could always try and write another original novel after I finish the yuletide and hearts' fics? (Though then I'd have two original novels in the draft stage and that seems like. many.)

• ...I am currently bouncing a lot about Angband survivor!Celebrimbor, and I don't have a plot as such for it, but there's no reason I can't try to assemble a plane while flying it during NaNo. However, a few NaNos ago I wrote a Silmarillion novella for it? So I'd be doing that twice, which is a bit strange? ...actually, wait, no, I would have written two specifically Second Age novellas. That's hilarious.
