So, I've heard back from the potential honours supervisor.

Because he hadn't heard back from me for some time because I was being thorough and weighing my options, he's offered the project to someone else. And he'll ask that someone else if they still want that project, and will get back to me in the next two weeks.

Guess what's due in the next two weeks? Why, it's the application to do Honours!

So there's a good chance I'll have to write that application super hecking fast-- or I'll have to find another supervisor (and hope my second choices haven't also already picked students) super hecking fast.

(And there is also an extra layer of stress, because I had actively decided to do this project! I had decided to this was likely to be the best project for me! And even though I quite like my second choices-- they feel like worse choices now, because I picked a different one and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH)
