Hello, person who has matched with me, or is treating me! No matter what you make, I'm probably going to really like it, but I know it's much easier to come up with an idea if you've got some guidance. If you have an idea unrelated to these prompts, also go ahead! I’m pretty close to guaranteed to like what you make. I’ve also got why I like certain ships mixed in with the prompts. While I’ve listed separate art prompts for most of the ships, feel free to use the writing prompts as art prompts (or the art prompts as writing prompts!) Length is not related to how much I like the ships, and more to how many prompts I could come up with off the top of my head. (And lack of art prompts isn’t related to whether I want art for a ship or not, but likewise to whether I could think of one off the top of my head.)

I am requesting both fic and art for everything.

General Likes:

• fluff that has a minor conflict. Things like ‘my SO has had a bad day: I'm gonna make it better!’ or ‘oh no, we forgot that [event] is coming up and have to quickly prepare!’
• Hurt/comfort (hurt/comfort > comfort no hurt > hurt no comfort.)
• Angst with a happy ending
• Mutual pining/wanting to get together but not be able because [reason], with [reason] being resolved at the end
• Kissing! Forehead kisses, kisses on the cheek, full on make outs: kissing is great!
• Cuddling! I feel the same way about cuddling as I do about kissing! It’s all good. I especially like characters falling asleep leaning against each other.
• For some ships (they'll be specified in the prompts) I like exploring the messed up dynamics and/or the terrible-idea-ness of the relationship. (Drawing that symbolically is highly encouraged)
• I love characters giving into temptation, for lack of a better description? Like, knowing that a particular relationship is a bad idea, but going into it anyway.
• While I love fluff deeply, with femslash I also love stories where the protagonists are flawed, or the plot ends up dark, or both.
• Politics! I love characters trying to navigate it, the tension between their political persona and they’re actual persona, the ethical dilemmas of power, all of it!
• Loyalty. Intense loyalties, conflicted loyalties: they're all good.
• Dancing, either partner dances or just both people happening to dance at the same time.
• Religion, religious discussions and worldbuilding about religion.
• Horses! Whether they're just in the background, or are a major part of the art/plot. I love horses

Art Likes:

• As a general note: anything I’ve mentioned in my general likes, I also like in art. I’ve copied over most of the relevant likes over here as well, so they’re easy to find for anyone who wants to do art, but if there’s something in the above list that takes your fancy as something to put in art, go right ahead!
• Kissing! Forehead kisses, kisses on the cheek, full on make outs: kissing is great!

• Oral sex. Of all kinds, though I have a particular soft spot for cunnilingus.

• Mild sadism and masochism/painplay. (For example: whipping? Yes please! Whipping until the skin is stripped off a character’s back: no thank you. In general, extreme pain or injuries that can’t fully heal is past where I’d like it (though in a setting with magical healing, I’m more comfortable with more extreme things if it’s established the chatacters will be healed.))
• Ritual sex/deliberately public sex (ie, the public intended to be there to watch)

DNWs:

• Torture being portrayed as good or effective. (Torture happening: very much fine by me. The ‘good guys’/protagonists torturing people: do not want. People achieving their goals through torture (eg getting secret information): also do not want.) As a Silmarillion specific note: I would really not like Maeglin to give away Gondolin’s position due to torture, and would much prefer it if he either gave it away deliberately, or Angband found Gondolin’s location by other means.
• Explicit on-screen rape (Dubious consent is fine and not dnwed, especially in “that’s an alarming power imbalance” and “one or more parties is off their face on sex pollen/lust potion/is in heat” flavours. In general, if afterwards both parties are thinking “Well, that wasn’t ideal, but I’m fine with it,” I’d count that as dubcon, not non con, and would be fine with it.)
• Ferdinand von Aegir/Hubert von Vestra

Keychain of Creation – Padraig O Ruanai

Oh, poor Keychain of Creation, gone the way of so many other webcomics—put on permanent hiatus before the author got a chance to finish it. Even so, it is a comic that is near and dear to my heart. Keychain of Creation is an Exalted fan webcomic, that is to Exalted what a lot of DnD actual play podcasts are to DnD. It has an Exalted setting, with original characters and some original worldbuilding, and a fair amount taking the piss out of the Exalted setting. Exalted is a setting full of powerful heroes, given a fraction of a god’s power to go lay righteous smackdown. Our four heroes are on a quest to find the 5 Keys of Creation, to make sure no evildoers gain access to all five, and thus gain the ability to open any lock (including the ones holding back the eldritch abominations that want to destroy the world.) …They are not necessarily good at this. I love the mix of proper Exalted flavour over-the-top action and the humour, combined with characters that are the right level of ‘Yep, I can see why this person was chosen as a champion of the gods’ while still coming across as human. …also I have a soft spot for the fact literally everyone has a sad backstory. As a note, considering this comic ended rather abruptly-- I am fine with any take on what happened after canon ended. If you want to set your fic or art after what we last saw in the comics, feel free to do so?

Thrice-Radiant Misho & Marena & Secret & Ten Winds

• I love this group of ragtag misfits. All the dynamics between them are so good. Everyone trying to teach Secret; Misho completely failing at fitting in in this Age; Marena flirting with anyone and everything; and Ten alternating between stoic and sensible martial arts teacher… and sneaking off to the pub. -For a prompt, I’d be interested in seeing some of their downtime that goes ‘well.’ They go into a town to do the Doctor & Family act—and they aren’t stopped by Fair Folk or other Exalted. But that doesn’t mean there are no ructions or conflict. Just because there are no other Exalted to cause problems doesn’t mean they can’t cause problems for themselves. Misho doesn’t know how much medicine is a normal amount to know, and isn’t great at not drawing suspicion. Marena is leaving behind a trail of broken marriages whenever she isn’t fortune telling. Secret is trying to avoid gaining Resonance or attention—but a bunch of small children have decided she is The Coolest. Ten Winds is leaving behind a trail of alcohol poisoning—which Misho then has to treat—because some youths think it’d be easy to drink an ‘old man’ under the table. Or some other beautiful chaos of the creator’s choice
• What happened during their time in Costora’s domain. What was the contest? Did they get the Jade Key (and if so, which on of them got it?) -For art: All of them hanging out by the fire, chilling outside the wagon, while they are on the road.

Marena & Ragara Karen

• I really like their dynamic, and how much they care about each other (even if they don’t always get the other)
• I’d be interested in a fic about their childhood. What was their relationship like then? How was it affected by the fact they were raised by different people?
• How did their relationship change after Karen gave away her voice. She gave away her voice so she could stay with Marena, but going from being able to talk to not being able to would likely have changed their dynamic. -For art: the fighting together. Quite possibly with Marena in warform, and both of their anima banners flaring,

Marena/Secret

• I love their bickery relationship plus Secret’s crush on Marena. It’s so fun! And It’s fun to see how it went from more antagonistic at the beginning, to Secret having hella heart-eyes for Marena at the end.
• I’d be quite happy with Secret having an unrequited thing with Marena—but a variant where Marena just didn’t realise Secret was interested would also be fun. (But what would prompt Secret to admit her feelings?)
• As a smut prompt: maybe Marena’s manipulation training program for Secret contains some, uh, ‘hands on’ practical components.

Thrice-Radiant Misho/Marena

• I’d be really interested them in sorting out their issues re: Misho conflating Marena and her previous life. How does Misho actually internalise that she’s a different person? How does he convince Marena of this fact?
• Alternatively, what if Misho… doesn’t quite realise Marena is not her past life, and is stuck pining for someone who is actually dead, but appears merely to be just out his reach.
• For art or fic , Marena looking after Misho after a bad nightmare.

Thrice-Radiant Misho/Resch Dan

• I have a soft spot for Misho in the first age. I equally have a soft spot for characters that have no dialogue, so you can interpret them however you want. Take this as your permission to have whatever characterisation for Resch Dan, and whatever romantic relationship dynamic between Misho and Resch that you want. I just want more of these two.
• What was their relationship like, post-war with the Primordials? How was it before and after Misho slipped into obsession?
• …what happens when Misho and co. go to check on the Moonsilver Key, and meet chimera!Resch Dan?

Secret & The King of Uncloaked Steel

• I’d be interested either Secret’s time being trained by The King, or after they’ve escaped the Silver Prince’s service. What’s the King’s training style?
• I’d be interested in a fic or art about Secret and the King working to take someone with ‘unworthy power’ down.
• I’m interested in the dynamic between them, with Secret’s run! hide! tendencies versus to fight literally everything I can see. Also, the intriguing implication that Secret was making things too easy. She doesn’t have great self esteem, so it’s likely she thought she was less helpful than she was.

Thrice-Radiant Misho/Unnamed Elder Fae Brother

• Ahh, hateships, what a lovely thing! I find the dynamic of flirts as a Fun Quirk™, gets yeeted into a bush highly entertaining.
• As a fic prompt, Misho and co. could be passing back through the village, possibly to collect a favour from the fae. Unnamed Elder Fae Brother (UEFB from here, for ease of writing) decides that being someone dramatically In Love and Carrying A Torch For Our Shining Hero is a fun role to play, and goes about doing that. Misho is incredibly put off.
• For art: a redraw of Misho’s One Canonical Smooch

Thrice-Radiant Misho/Ten Winds

• Ah, the old man squad. I love them.
• I’d be interested in seeing them commiserate with each other (over a bottle of Ten’s favourite alcohol, probably) about being the two oldest members of the circles, and about the—well, not the Good Old Days, they were still pretty bad, but The Days Where We Had Half a Clue What Was Going On
• Alternatively, them commiserating about having to train the other two, that eventually becomes something more.

Ragara Karen/Ten Winds

• I love Karen’s crush on Ten Winds! It’s so… cute? If Dawn Caste exalts going into battle to defend someone counts as cute.
• I’d be interested in seeing Karen try and express her interest in Ten Winds… without talking. I’m imagine some cat-like “I killed some of your enemies for you!” happening, though that may not work out the best nonverbally. -For art: Them training together!

The Silmarillion

The Silmarillion! I love all the opportunities for delicious angst, and the many different character interpretations that can all be correct because each character gets, like, two lines of direct dialogue a piece. (Which should be taken as ‘I will like pretty much any interpretation of any character, go wild.)

Annatar/Celebrimbor

• One of the reasons I like this ship because there’s points in the timeline where things look like they’re going great! Everything is awesome! This helpful Maia is very awesome! But as a reader you know everything is going to crash and burn. So feel free to lean into that dramatic irony. I also like it because it could have worked, if only Sauron… wasn’t Sauron.
• I’m a big fan of fic set in the Eregion era.
• I like helpful!nice!Celebrimbors as much as the next person, but I’m also a big fan of more ambitious, darker interpretations of Celebrimbor. I like the idea of Celebrimbor initially being jealous of Sauron when he first shows up in Eregion, because Celebrimbor prided himself being the best smith, and where does this Maia get off on being so helpful, anyway? And eventually the rivalry becomes romantic, and Celebrimbor considers that maybe he was judging Annatar too harshly—and then the Rings happen.

Celebrimbor/Maeglin

• For this ship, I love both fluff... and absurdly tragic ‘rip the reader’s heart out with a spoon’ stuff
• Does Celebrimbor see Maeglin’s betrayal of Gondolin as a betrayal directly or indirectly of him? Did Maeglin try to warn him... or not? If you want to go dark with ship, go as dark as you like.
• I like characterisation of Maeglin where he gave away Gondolin willingly (mostly because I don’t see that characterisation often.)
• Is Maeglin torn between his love for (unnattainable) Idril and (attainable) Celebrimbor? Is Celebrimbor aware of the torch Maeglin holds for Idril? Does he feel he needs to compete?
• For fluff, working together in the forge would be good. -Redemption fic is so good!

Maeglin/Túrin Turambar

• The dark haired cursed grumps, together at last!
• I'd be interested in either a Túrin in Gondolin or a Maeglin in Nargothrod AU to make this ship happen.
• How does Maeglin feel about Túrin having his father's sword? Distrustful? Strangely relieved, that something of his father’s is being put to good use?
• For art: Sparring together! Or maybe hanging out in a pretty part of either Gondolin or Nargothrond.

Aredhel & Maeglin

• I’d love to see an exploration of their family dynamic. For example, Aredhel secretly teaching Maeglin about the Noldor, about the rest of his family. But any exploration of their mother-son relationship would be great
• Aredhel Lives AUs are also great. I just want her to be able to see her son grow up.
• As a general note, I’m not a big fan of Eöl, so if possible I’d much prefer he’s more of a background character, or at least not overly sympathetic.

Beleg Cuthalion/Turin Turambar

• “If I remained with thee, love would lead me, not wisdom” is such a beautiful line, I love it. I generally love Beleg’s loyalty to Túrin, even when it’s against his better judgment.
• (I’ll also admit I find the frankly absurd age gap amusing.)
• Missing scene fic, or going into more detail about things that canon glossed over would be really cool.
• Beleg Lives or Beleg Dies Later in a Different But Equally Tragic Way AUs are also really cool.

Gwindor/Finduilas

• What was it like for Gwindor to return to Nargothrond? What was it like for Finduilas when he returned? How did they deal with having to restart their relationship? I imagine there was something akin to a grieving process for both of them. It was amazingly good luck that Gwindor could return alive… but there’s still the grief for who Gwindor once was, and what their relationship could have been in a happier world.
• Alternatively, what did they do just before Gwindor left for the Nirnaeth? Did they mark the occasion? How did they each feel about it? Were they sure the Union would win, or did they fear that Gwindor would fall in battle?
• For art: Gwindor and Finduilas dancing together, or sharing a happy moment?

Revolutionary Girl Utena

I really like the surreal strangeness of this show. But what I also really like is the relational horror. I’m not sure if that’s the technical term, but for me, a lot of the horror comes from the relationships—all the messed up dynamics, and ways people hurt each other, even when they are trying their best not to. I’d be interested in that being explored in any of the ships below. But I’d also be interested in characters trying—and at least somewhat succeeding—in having healthier relationships. Even if it takes a lot of work and blood and sweat and tears. Especially with the student characters, there’s the tantalising prospect that they could work out how they are hurting each other and themselves, and fix that.

Tenjou Utena/Himemiya Anthy

• I’d be very interested in what happens to them after the events of the show. Does Anthy find Utena? How does she find her? (I have a soft spot for the ‘how’ being incredibly mundane, with Anthy and Utena being free of Ohtori Academy meaning they are free from its fairy tale logic. I’d also be interested in Anthy adjusting to not being able to lean on fairy tale logic any more.)
• I am also a sucker for ‘missing scenes,’ moments that we didn’t get to see in canon.
• Hurt/comfort? Hurt/comfort.

Kiryuu Touga/ Saionji Kyoichi

• I love this pairing, precisely for how terrible everyone involved is. Feel free to go dark—neither Touga nor Saionji really can do healthy relationships, can they?
• What happens to them after Utena disappears, and the duelling game stops? What happens once they leave Ohtori (do they ever manage to leave Ohtori? Does only one of them manage to leave?)
• Working in the movie canon is highly encouraged. Both in the sense of ‘what if Touga was dead and/or a ghost’ or ‘jeez, child!Saionji’s desire to be like/to be mature like Touga has some dark implications there.’

Kiryuu Touga/Ohtori Akio

• I love-to-hate the dynamic between these two. Touga seems to think he’s getting one up on Akio, that he’s out manipulating a manipulator… and he’s really not. (Which makes considering his backstory, but that really only makes it more painful.) I think it’s a fascinating dynamic, and I would like to see more of it. I would also like to apologise to any potential writers, for not being able to give a more specific prompt for this! -For art: I’d love to see art of them in the car together.
• DNW clarification: I’m of the opinion that the photography scenes were definitely sex, and by extension, Akio definitely raped Touga. I do not wish this to be detailed ‘on screen’ in a fic. Implications, fade-to-blacks, and having the unshown scenes affect the plot are A-OK, however.

Dragon Age

Merrill/Female Hawke

• While I always like hurt/comfort, I’d especially like h/c for this pair, whether it’s in the form of ‘comforting each other while they grieve the people they’ve lost’ or ‘one of them gets a cold and the other nurses them back to health’
• or fluff! Fluff is good!
• Hawke and Merrill get separated from the rest of their party in the wilderness, and Merrill uses her Dalish knowledge to help get them out.
• Merrill teaches mage!hawke blood magic
• For art, fighting together as a team!

Female Hawke/Aveline Vallen

• I love the tension between Aveline’s role as captain of the guard and as Hawke’s friend/lover, considering how many questionably legal things Hawke does.
• I also love Aveline’s awkwardness and inability to articulate herself romantically
• Aveline recruiting Hawke’s other friends to help her flirt with Hawke would be hilarious.
• Aveline recruiting Hawke to help her flirt with Hawke would be double hilarious.
• For art: Aveline giving Hawke a meaningful gift (with Aveline being the only one who understands it’s meaning, probably) or going on a walk through Kirkwall together.

Fenris/Sebastian Vael

• I’d love discussions between these two about their belief (or non-belief) in the Maker, building off their banter conversations.
• For art or fic: Sebastian introducing Fenris to Andrastian/Free Marches festivals.
• Fenris deserves good things, and some tooth rotting fluff wouldn’t go astray.
• In fic, I like it when it’s acknowledged that Sebastian wasn’t always an innocent Chantry boy, and he knows what sex, drugs (and rock’n’roll) are, even if he doesn’t partake at the present time.
• For this ship, I'd rather not have explicit sex please.

Sebastian Vael/Male Hawke

• You may have noticed a theme in my Sebastian ship prompts with ‘religious discussions.’ I just love characters discussing religion, and how different beliefs change how people relate to each other. I don’t have a Male Hawke, so feel free to make Hawke’s religious views whatever you want.
• For art or fic: Celebrating religious holidays together.
• In fic, I like it when it’s acknowledged that Sebastian wasn’t always an innocent Chantry boy, and he knows what sex, drugs (and rock’n’roll) are, even if he doesn’t partake at the present time.
• I love the idea of them being aggressively chaste and even more aggressively schmoopy.

Zevran Arainai/Male Tabris, Zevran Arainai/Male Mahariel

• How does the trust between them grow, considering their first meeting? What was the moment that they realised they trusted/loved the other?
• Did they grow close because of the fact they were the only two elves in Team Stop The Blight, of in spite of it?
• How do the deal with the fact that they have feelings for each other. (Considering what Zevran is like--)
• For Male Tabris: What are the culture differences between city elves in Fereldan and Antiva? Is there ever a point where they deeply confused each other. (“You od X?” “…yes?” “But that’s really dangerous!” ”wHAT”) -For Male Mahariel: Is there any tension between how they feel about the Dalish? Zevran mentions the fantasy of what Dalish clans are like does not much up to the reality. Does that affect how he feels about Mahariel?

Zevran/Rinna/Taliesen

• I'm really interested in the dynamic between these characters, especially with the fact that the Crows both seem to realise that they are an effective team, but also doesn't want them getting too close
• How did Rinna's "betrayal" go down? What we're Taliesen's feelings about it? What were Rinna's?
• What was life with the Crows like for them?

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Fire Emblem, the home of larger than life characters who somehow all have sad backstories! I love all these sad teenagers-to-adults-depending-on-where-in-the-timeline-we-are. (As a note, I’ve only played Crimson Flowers so far. I’m not against spoilers for other routes, but if you add something that only makes sense if you know how chapter 14 of Silver Snow goes down, I won’t get it.)

Ferdinand von Aegir/Caspar von Bergliez (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)

• PARTNERS IN JUSTICE! I’d be interested in fic or art of them working together to spread justice(!) around. In their own, hmm, eccentric ways.
• I’m interested in the dynamic they have, where they have very similar goals, but very different reasoning for their goals. For example, how Ferdinand wants to be as best as he can be so he can be the best(!) Prime Minister ever and live up to the noble ideal, while Caspar wants to be as best as he can be to make his own way in the world, because he’s not in line to inherit. -For art: sparring together.

Ferdinand von Aegir/Linhardt von Hevring (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)

• I ship Linhardt with people who make him exercise, apparently? But that moment in their B supports when Linhardt is out of breath is what made me ship this, so… [shrug?]
• I really like the dynamic of Linhardt trying very hard not to be a noble, and Ferdinand trying to encourage him to match up to the ideal more.
• I’d also really be interested in a philosophical discussion between the two. They both have relatively thought through ethical systems, and it would be interesting to see them talk about it with each other.
• For art: maybe a drawing of the scene where Ferdinand is trying to chase Linhardt down?

Ferdinand von Aegir/Dorothea Arnault (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)

• I love this ship! Both before the revelation in their A support, where Ferdinand is trying to get her to like him and he can’t quite work out what the problem is, and afterwards, when Dorothea found out that he hadn’t forgotten her.
• Dorothea is writing her opera about Edelgard’s conquest of Fódlan, and asks Ferdinand to help by singing along with some of the multi part stuff so she can check whether it sounds right. Ferdinand throws himself in with gusto! …but is very embarrassed singing his own part, or any of the love duets.
• Some incredibly schmoopy fluff, in either fic or art form, would be good.

Ferdinand von Aegir/Petra Macneary (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)

• I love the idea of them negotiating relations between their two countries, trying to get the best deal for each—while being very much in love, and doing their best not to let that affect their negotiations. They are trying to be very scrupulously acting in the interests of their own countries, and it mostly works? But it’s hard. This could be interesting either as an established relationship, or pre-relationship. -For art or fic: Ferdinand and Petra sparring together, and Petra teaching Ferdinand techniques from Brigid.

Petra Macneary/Edelgard von Hresvelg

• They had a fledgling schoolgirl crush when they were young, one that did not go anywhere—by the time either of them could have considered saying something, making this thing they had solid, the war had started. They had more pressing things, then. Things that they couldn’t let get de-railed by feelings. But now the war has ended. Petra is queen of Brigid, and working towards making Brigid and ally rather than a vassal of Adrestia, and she and Edelgard are having to work closely to sort out the terms of the alliance. But that spark is still there, and is making itself more awkward and pressing now the war is over. And maybe a political marriage would help the alliance…
• For art: Either Petra and Edelgard negotiating in full royal finery, or fighting side by side.

Bernadetta Varley/ Sylvain Gautier

• I am so sad that this support chain ended at B, and on such a sad note. Bernadetta thought he was lying to her! I’d really be interested in a fic that was a hypothetical A support between these two, where Sylvain manages to convince her that no, he really does like her writing. And he really does like her. (That may also add another complication, because Bernadetta may end up assuming he’s doing it to ‘collect’ all the girls at the monastery. But hopefully they can sort that out too, and actually have a romantic relationship.)
• For art: Sylvain trying to read over Bernadetta’s shoulder as she’s trying to write.

Byleth/Jeritza

• I love how… affectionately murderous their support chain is? I’d like one of two flavours with this ship.
• Flavour 1: The fight against… whatever it is that slivers in the dark is (and here is where having only played Crimson Flowers has it’s problems) is over. Jeritza and Byleth are coming up with increasingly silly excuses to not fight each other to the death. The excuses reach a point where they are pretty much farcical.
• Flavour 2: Their both old now. Their war together, by any reasonable definition is over. Maybe one or both of them is starting to get sick, maybe it’s just that neither of them is as fast as they used to be—but either way, if they want to have a fight to the death, and have it be satisfying and a test of their true skills, they have to have it now. So they do.
• For art: either their ultimate showdown, or them sharing a sweet treat.
• NB: I’m happy with either m!, f! or nb!Byleth.

Caspar von Bergliez/Linhardt von Hevring

• I like the idea of them going on adventures together post canon, with Linhardt ‘grudgingly’ going along (but honestly enjoying it, because there’s so much fun to do hands on research)
• Caspar gets badly injured in a fight, and Linhardt has to protect him to get him out of it, and then look after him once their clear of the worst of the fighting. Maybe there’s also something stopping magic from working, so Linhardt has to do first aid non-magically.

Gay Pirate Assassin/Gay Pirate Assassin

• Context
• I don’t necessarily have anything very specific in mind for this ship, other than the fact that the concept of gay pirate assassins is very awesome, and their should be at least two of them.
• Is one of them a software/internet pirate, and the other a sea pirate? Does the sea pirate look down on the software pirate for the hiding behind a screen instead of taking action, or do they admire the internet pirates technical know how?
• …or, do they have a deeply confusing conversation, before they realise that they are talking about being different kinds of pirates.
• Do they have a discussion about different types of VPNs that may suit their needs, while lying through their teeth about why they want them? (A: “I’m looking for a vpn because, uh… I’m gay! And at a fundamentalist Christian college!” (Which is half true, on account of them being an actual gay person, who was at a christian college… which they dropped out of to become an assassin) B: “That’s cool. I’m looking to, hmm… protect my passwords.”)
• I have no preference about the gender of these gay pirate assassins, just that they both have the same one.

Half Orc Adventurer/Elf Adventurer in the Same Party

• I’m looking for some “ugh why am I having to deal with this person” to friendly rivalry to “I never thought I’d be fighting side by side with a half orc” “What about side by side with a friend.”
• Our elven adventurer has… heard things about orcs and half orcs. Which may be completely incorrect. So they are being scrupulously polite… but it’s a trying task. Said half orc is quite grumpy that said elf is being so rude! Because elven and orc/human/half orc versions of politeness are different enough that there is some serious culture clash.
• Alternatively: they’ve just survived a harrowing dungeon/dragon fight/whatever, and while no one in the party has died, it was very stressful, and everyone’s looking to blow off some steam. And while our elven adventurer wouldn’t normally pick up someone like the half orc adventurer, they do have a thing for burly people who look like they could snap them in half with a twig. The half orc adventurer, equally, has a thing for more waifish (or dweeby, if the elf is a wizard) people. If they were in a town, maybe they would each have tried to pick someone else up—but out in the middle of nowhere where they are, there are limited options, and they trust the other to not make it weird. So the have casual/friends-with-benefits sex with each other.
• I have no preference for any gender combination.

Female Adventurer/Male Drow She Captured Who Wants Her To Keep Him

• I like the idea the idea that the Female Adventurer really doesn’t want to keep someone, ugh, that is creepily similar to owning someone, can we not? But the drow is very insistent! He is coming with her! She is nice, and not terrible, unlike who he would end up returning to! Female Adventurer finds this even more off putting, because if he only want to follow her because she’s the least worst option--? And she tries her best to make it clear that he can just leave! She’s not going to stop him from just leaving and being a free man! (Which Drow initially just quietly boggles at.) Ideally they’d manage to work things out. Female Adventure starts to like Drow (he’s kinda sweet, and even if there’s some culture clash, he’s a good guy), and Drow ends up not following her not because he feel like he has to follow someone, but because he actually likes her? And then the fall in love and it’s cute.
• Bonus points for said drow being a scarily competent warrior who got captured because Female Adventurer happens to just be a little bit more scarily competent (and the dice were a bit more in her favour).
• For art: Some dramatic “Oh no, you’ve captured me~! You’d better tie me up so I don’t escape~” (with optional “Why would I need to do that?”)
• Alternatively: them fighting together

Male Elf Diplomat/Male Orc Mercenary Hired to Escort Him

• Elf diplomat hires an orc mercenary as a bodyguard when he goes on a diplomatic tour of the different orc kingdoms. Sure, there’s tension between the orc kingdoms, but their culturally similar enough that having an orc around may help him avoid cultural etiquette flubs (especially among the lower classes. He’s reasonably well versed in high class orc etiquette, but he knows he has less of a clue around the common folk.) The orc mercenary originally goes along because the pays good (and it better be, considering the potential danger), and doesn’t care much for the elf diplomat. But over time, as they travel together, they get closer, and start appreciating each other’s skills more, and fall in love.
• For art: I’d love a picture of the elven diplomat in full finery, giving a speech, while the heavily armed orc mercenary stands behind his shoulder glares at anyone who might cause trouble.

Wandering Lady Knight/Far-Away Princess she writes letters to

• I really like epistolary fic! I love the idea of the lady knight writing letters to the her lady love.
• Maybe the knight writes about her adventures, so the princess who is stuck in the palace and can’t really leave can live vicariously through them.
• Maybe the knight is adventuring to fulfil a quest for the princess? Maybe the princess needs the root of a rare herb to cure a disease, or the king is insisted that the lady knight needs to bring back the heart of a dragon to get the princesses hand in marriage.
• For art: I’d love a split-screen picture of them writing letters to each other.

Spotted Hyena Monstergirl/Human Woman Who Doesn't Know Much About Hyenas

• Look, I am fan creature of simple tastes and some furry tendencies. I really like the idea of something along the lines of hyena monstergirl and the human woman ending up in one or the other’s boudoir, and the clothes come off… Human woman: …that’s a dick Hyena monstergirl: Technically not? Human woman: I mean, I’m not against it, it’s just not what I expected? Hyena monstergirl, who knows a little more about humans than the human woman knows about hyena girls, but still thinks of hyena people as the default: ??? What did you expect?
• And then they have sex. Possibly involving sounding, because sounding is always fun.
