Length is not related to how much I like any ship, and more related to how much I can ramble about them off the top of my head.

For artists: most of my prompts should have specific art prompts, but even if they don’t, I would still love to get art for them! My art likes contains some general prompts, and feel free to use a fic prompt as a springboard for your art. General Likes:

I like the whole gamut from fluff with a minor conflict to angst that gets resolved to completely tragic tragedies. - Tragedies that are inevitable and tragedies where the ground work for them was laid well before anyone could predict the tragic outcome, so as soon as the characters know a tragic outcome is a possibility it is too late, are both very good. - As are bittersweet endings, or angst with a happy ending
Hurt/comfort (hurt/comfort > comfort no hurt > hurt no comfort.) - I like comforters who are being/trying to be relentlessly practical, or who express their care for the comfortee through actions more than words. - comforters and comfortees trying to be stoic (and not necessarily succeeding). - comforters and comfortees pretending that what is going on has nothing to do with one of them being hurt, they’re just being randomly nice/ they’re not hurt at all! - comfort after nightmares/panic attacks/other PTSD symptoms is very good. Especially nightmares. (Nightmares are such a good vehicle for revealing things about a character.) - As is comfort after more recent traumatic events, such as tending injuries after a battle or a character has been rescued from captivity - I am a big fan of the hurt being a character having a minor illness or injury that isn’t particularly concerning but does make them feel miserable
Mutual pining/wanting to get together but not be able because [reason], with [reason] being resolved at the end (example reasons: mistaken identity, “I am your boss and it would be unethical”, but in general I am not picky about this dynamic)
- (Or, of course “I should not take advantage of you!” “You are very much not taking advantage of me, what are you talking about?”)

Keychain of Creation

Oh, poor Keychain of Creation, gone the way of so many other webcomics—put on permanent hiatus before the author got a chance to finish it. Even so, it is a comic that is near and dear to my heart.

Keychain of Creation is an Exalted fan webcomic, that is to Exalted what a lot of DnD actual play podcasts are to DnD. It has an Exalted setting, with original characters and some original worldbuilding, and a fair amount taking the piss out of the Exalted setting. Exalted is a setting full of powerful heroes, given a fraction of a god’s power to go lay righteous smackdown. Our four heroes are on a quest to find the 5 Keys of Creation, to make sure no evildoers gain access to all five, and thus gain the ability to open any lock (including the ones holding back the eldritch abominations that want to destroy the world.) …They are not necessarily good at this.

I love the mix of proper Exalted flavour over-the-top action and the humour, combined with characters that are the right level of ‘Yep, I can see why this person was chosen as a champion of the gods’ while still coming across as human. …also I have a soft spot for the fact literally everyone has a sad backstory. (Feel free to wallow in the characters’ sad backstories. I love it.)

As a note, considering this comic ended rather abruptly-- I am fine with any take on what happened after canon ended. If you want to set your fic or art after what we last saw in the comics, feel free to do so?

Misho Notes: I love how compassionate and caring he is (even when it gets the better of him)! He really cares about people, and applies his whole mind to it, and it’s great. He is not good at dealing with having responsibility, but he’s going to try and do his best anyway. I also love how he’s a little pile of reincarnation angst. That is a fun flavour of angst. Missing people a thousand years dead, having the identity issues of not properly remembering one of your pasts—It’s great. I’d be interested in fics that tried to navigate either of those two things, either in fluffy (“Goddamnit Misho, I am going to distract you from panicking about having to save the world!”) or angsty ways (pining over people who are long dead.) Hurt/comfort with him is also very fun, whether it’s because of his reincarnation angst, nightmares, or something else.

Thrice-Radiant Misho/Unnamed Elder Fae Brother

Ahh, hateships, what a lovely thing! I find the dynamic of flirts as a Fun Quirk™,, gets yeeted into a bush highly entertaining.
As a fic prompt, Misho and co. could be passing back through the village, possibly to collect a favour from the fae. Unnamed Elder Fae Brother (UEFB from here, for ease of writing) decides that being someone dramatically In Love and Carrying A Torch For Our Shining Hero is a fun role to play, and goes about doing that. Misho is incredibly put off.

Thrice Radiant Misho / Ten Winds

Ah, the old man squad. I love them.
I’d be interested in seeing them commiserate with each other (over a bottle of Ten’s favourite alcohol, probably) about being the two oldest members of the circles, and about the—well, not the Good Old Days, they were still pretty bad days, but The Days Where We Had Half a Clue What Was Going On
Alternatively, them commiserating about having to train the other two, that eventually becomes something more.

Marena & Ragara Karen

I really like their dynamic, and how much they care about each other (even if they don’t always get the other)
I’d be interested in a fic about their childhood. What was their relationship like then? How was it affected by the fact they were raised by different people?
How did their relationship change after Karen gave away her voice. She gave away her voice so she could stay with Marena, but going from being able to talk to not being able to would likely have changed their dynamic. -For art: the fighting together. Quite possibly with Marena in warform, and both of their anima banners flaring,

Marena/Secret

I love their bickery relationship plus Secret’s crush on Marena. It’s so fun! And It’s fun to see how it went from more antagonistic at the beginning, to Secret having hella heart-eyes for Marena at the end.
I’d be quite happy with Secret having an unrequited thing with Marena—but a variant where Marena just didn’t realise Secret was interested would also be fun. (But what would prompt Secret to admit her feelings?)
As a smut prompt: maybe Marena’s manipulation training program for Secret contains some, uh, ‘hands on’ practical components.

Thrice-Radiant Misho/Marena

I’d be really interested them in sorting out their issues re: Misho conflating Marena and her previous life. How does Misho actually internalise that she’s a different person? How does he convince Marena of this fact?
Alternatively, what if Misho… doesn’t quite realise Marena is not her past life, and is stuck pining for someone who is actually dead, but appears merely to be just out his reach.
For art or fic , Marena looking after Misho after a bad nightmare.

Mo Dao Zu Shi – Mo Xiang Tong Xiu

Political machinations and drama going everywhere! People who do the right thing getting fucked over! People who do not do the right thing also getting fucked over, maybe at a later date! Less exclamation point-ily, I love all the characters. I love the fact most of them have tragic arcs or chunks-of-arcs. It is very good and I am having trouble articulating its very goodness. Feel free with what you make for me hit any tone between “things are going well! :D” to “things are going well... for now” to “everything is terrible and everyone I loved has died.” NB: I am a novel person who hasn’t actually seen the live action TV show, so if you give me a something eg featuring the yin iron*, I am going to be politely puzzled. *one of the few things I know changed in the adaption! I really do not know much about the show, sorry.

Jin Guangyao/Lan Xichen

Loyalty! Possibly ill-advised loyalty! The devotion! I love it!
I also love the ~contrast between the two. Like, I would not describe Lan Xichen’s hands as being entirely clean, but it’s safe to say he’s done a lot less torture than Jin Guangyao. And then there’s fact of their wildly different classes. But right up until the end they are so loyal to each other, despite being quite different.
I’m really interested in what happened between them in the Sunshot Campaign. The offscreen lacuna where Meng Yao had rescued Lan Xichen after the burning of Cloud Recesses is fascinating and there is so much space to play around there for fic and art. And then there’s also when Meng Yao was a spy inside the Wen clan, and is sending letters to Lan Xichen (epistolary fic, anyone? ;D)
Which isn’t to say I am not interested in post Sunshot fic about them! There’s also a lot of space to play around there, too. The work of running a sect (or trying to work your way up to running a sect), the sworn brotherhood, it’s all good.
For art: Them being affectionate with each other. Doing laundry on the run during the Sunshot campaign.

Wen Ning/Wei Wuxian

I love the dynamic of “You were nice to me once so I would die for you” “—oh, and you brought me back to life. Sort of.” I love Wen Ning’s devotion and loyalty, it’s so great.
I am totally cool if this is one sided on Wen Ning’s part. But I am equally cool with it being requited! (Poly is okay.)
I love the concepts in these two tumblr posts
I also love the potentially intimacy of being the person who is the reason the other person is sort-of-alive/dead-but-walking-around. You’d have to know a lot about them, or at least about their body! And considering that Wen Ning is the first conscious fierce corpse, I imagine there could be a certain amount of troubleshooting.
For art: characters being affectionate remains my weakness.

Mo Xuanyu & Xue Yang

I love the idea of Xue Yang being Mo Xuanyu’s really alarming mentor in demonic cultivation when they were both in Koi Tower. Xue Yang’s teaching would be... something, that’s for sure.
I also like the idea of a Mo Xuanyu Lives AU (either because he never did the sacrificial ritual, or he did but [for reasons] he is now stuck in the same body as Wei Wuxian) running into Xue Yang at Yi City. Potentially followed up by both of them going “Wow, you really messed up your life. RIP to you but I’m different.”
For art: Xue Yang teaching Mo Xuanyu... something, or them meeting at Yi City and going “!!! YOU!”

Song Lan/Xiao Xingchen

I love these two! There such good people, and they try so hard. And I love the contrast between Song Lan who is more aloof, and Xiao Xingchen who is so friendly he picks up injured people from the side of the road and like, lives with them for several years. And they have such a noble goal, of starting a sect that doesn’t care about bloodline, and they don’t get to achieve that.
I’d be interested in fic or art of the “from now on, we won’t need to meet again,” missing scene. It’s so tragic, and it would be even more tragic to see it instead of just having it reported.
Maybe an AU where Song Lan manages to nurse Xiao Xingchen’s soul back to wholeness, and they get to reunite. (Though maybe only temporarily, but that would still be something.)
I’d be interested in an exploration of Song Lan’s touch aversion, and how it interacts with Xiao Xingchen. Is Song Lan okay with Xiao Xingchen touching him, or not? If he is, is it because he inherently trusts Xiao Xingchen, or is it because he trusts Xiao Xingchen with the information about how to make himself not dirty/bad-to-touch and trusts him to follow through? Is Song Lan more concerned with touching things making him dirty/something-else-bad, or him touching things making those things dirty/something-else-bad? (The former is a bit more canonically supported, but I’d be interested in either!)
Alternatively fic or art of them just having a nice time. Walking through nature together, or eating some nice food—something fluffy.

默读/ Mo Du/ Silent Reading/ Light in the Night – priest

I love the amount of characterisation in Mo Du, even just for the minor characters. Everyone gets thoughts and feelings and motivations, even if they don’t get looked at in depth, and you can tell that narrative really cares about people. I also love the twists and turns in the narrative, the moments where you are torn between “wHAT?!” and “Of course! That makes total sense!” And the themes of class! So good. The relationship and the build-up of the relationship between Luo Wenzhou and Fei Du is really great. I also love the prose of the E Danglars translation, if you feel up for a pastiche.

Fei Du notes: I love how he is a social chameleon, who knows exactly what to say to fit in or make you like him—or troll you completely and drive you round the bend. I also love how he’s calculating all the time—what will happen if does this, or this? What will get him what he wants. And I love how he Sure Does Have a Backstory. And his self-hatred, his fear of himself, the way he holds his own life pretty cheaply—it’s so good. I love characters exploring feelings of monstrosity, or the fear that they are dangerous or evil or should not have ever existed. Hits all my whump buttons. Exploring potential ‘bad ends’—nearly getting killed in one of his schemes, accidentally becoming the monster he was trying to avoid becoming—would be great for something darker! Or potentially hurt/comfort, if you are in a more fluffy mood?

Fei Du/Luo Wenzhou

I love hurt/comfort, and post canon hurt/comfort would be so good. They’re no longer taking down a vast criminal conspiracy, they can just relax and have a good time—though maybe the stress and trauma catches up to them for something heavier on the hurt side of the hurt/comfort.
- Fei Du being the hurt one and Luo Wenzhou as the comforter is very good, but so is the other way round. That is very good too.
For art: them being affectionate with each other, or doing something domestic together.

Hyena Woman/Human Woman Who Is Into That

Maybe this is in a fantasy setting, where gnolls are a thing, with a human adventurer who has an eye on a very lovely gnoll adventurer. Maybe a closet-furry astrobiologist is so hype that they have made first contact with an alien species... but is having to bite her fist and whisper “oh no” because the alien species looks alarmingly like anthropomorphic hyenas. Maybe it is The Glorious Transhumanist Future, and the hyena girl has decided that’s what she wants her body to be, and hey, she can’t complain about having admirers.
I am so here for spotted hyena clits/technically-not-a-dicks attached to anthropomorphic characters. I am so here for them being used in a sexy situation. Potentially including sounding.
If you want to write/draw the build up, the flirtation, the seduction: I am so here for that. If you want to skip straight to 300 words and/or a nice sketch of smut: I am also so here for that.

Spotted Hyena Monstergirl/Human Woman Who Doesn't Know Much About Hyenas

My setting/premise likes for this are pretty much the same as above, just with a bit more surprise on the human woman’s part.
Look, I am fan creature of simple tastes and some furry tendencies. I really like the idea of something along the lines of hyena monstergirl and the human woman ending up in one or the other’s boudoir, and the clothes come off… Human woman: …that’s a dick Hyena monstergirl: Technically not? Human woman: I mean, I’m not against it, it’s just not what I expected? Hyena monstergirl, who knows a little more about humans than the human woman knows about hyena girls, but still thinks of hyena people as the default: ??? What did you expect?
And then they have sex. Possibly involving sounding, because sounding is always fun.

Female Adventurer/Male Drow She Captured Who Wants Her To Keep Him

I like the idea the idea that the Female Adventurer really doesn’t want to keep someone, ugh, that is creepily similar to owning someone, can we not? But the drow is very insistent! He is coming with her! She is nice, and not terrible, unlike who he would end up returning to! Female Adventurer finds this even more off putting, because if he only want to follow her because she’s the least worst option--? And she tries her best to make it clear that he can just leave! She’s not going to stop him from just leaving and being a free man! (Which Drow initially just quietly boggles at.) Ideally they’d manage to work things out. Female Adventure starts to like Drow (he’s kinda sweet, and even if there’s some culture clash, he’s a good guy), and Drow ends up not following her not because he feel like he has to follow someone, but because he actually likes her? And then the fall in love and it’s cute.
Bonus points for said drow being a scarily competent warrior who got captured because Female Adventurer happens to just be a little bit more scarily competent (and the dice were a bit more in her favour).
For art: Some dramatic “Oh no, you’ve captured me~! You’d better tie me up so I don’t escape~” (with optional “Why would I need to do that?”)
Alternatively: them fighting together

Wandering Lady Knight/Her Pining Female Friend She Writes Letters To

Look, I am a sucker for knights errant and chivalry and courtly love related tropes, especially when it’s f/f. I also love pining and epistolary fic. This ship is made for me.
Who is the friend? Is she a fellow knight, or a princess, or a courtier, or someone who the wandering knight saved, or someone else? All the options give a slightly different dynamic, and they’re all good!
As mentioned above, I love epistolary fic! A fic made of one or more letters that they send to each other would be lovely!
Fort art: I’d love to see either (or both!) character’s response to receiving a letter. Dramatic blushing? Getting teary eyed with longing? Something else?

Female Knight/Female Healer

I love knights! I love healers! This is a very good ship!
I’d be interested in something exploring the dichotomy between them. One of them is a fighter, someone who wounds if it not kills other people. The other puts them back together. How do they feel about their roles? How do they feel about each other?
I’d also be interested in hurt/comfort wound tending fic where the Healer heals the Knight. (Wound tending is so good!)
For art: Wound tending. Going into battle as a duo.

Chaste Paladin/Silver-tongued Scoundrel

Paladin archetypes! Who are trying to hold onto their standards/virtue/whatever, while being tempted by someone silver tongued and with way less compunctions. DnD-esque Rogue/Paladin ships are just.. so good, and I also love characters trying (and sometimes failing!) not to give into temptation.
Of course, there’s the question of whether the scoundrel is trying to seduce the paladin, or seduce someone else while in the background the paladin is burning up with desire, or if the scoundrel is doing something else scoundrel-ish in the background.
Is the scoundrel trying to seduce the paladin because they are unnatainable? Because it’s funny to watch them get so angry and het up about it? Because they want the paladin to get the stick out of the arse and relax, just for once in their life--
For art: The scoundrel saying/doing something that makes the paladin blush bright red. The scoundrel getting right up into the paladin’s personal space.

Shoujo Kakumei Utena / Revolutionary Girl Utena

I really like the surreal strangeness of this show. But what I also really like is the relational horror. I’m not sure if that’s the technical term, but for me, a lot of the horror comes from the relationships—all the messed up dynamics, and ways people hurt each other, even when they are trying their best not to. I’d be interested in that being explored in any of the ships below. But I’d also be interested in characters trying—and at least somewhat succeeding—in having healthier relationships. Even if it takes a lot of work and blood and sweat and tears. Especially with the student characters, there’s the tantalising prospect that they could work out how they are hurting each other and themselves, and fix that.

Tenjou Utena/Himemiya Anthy

I’d be very interested in what happens to them after the events of the show. Does Anthy find Utena? How does she find her? (I have a soft spot for the ‘how’ being incredibly mundane, with Anthy and Utena being free of Ohtori Academy meaning they are free from its fairy tale logic. I’d also be interested in Anthy adjusting to not being able to lean on fairy tale logic any more.)
I am also a sucker for ‘missing scenes,’ moments that we didn’t get to see in canon.
Hurt/comfort? Hurt/comfort. Especially for Anthy. A moment where Utena doesn’t need to go on a fairy tale rescue, but a blanket and some tea and just being there can help, and while things are not great on Anthy’s end, Utena’s attempts really do help.
For art: Being affectionate with each other would be great, as would a redraw of one of the sword-pulling scenes.

Kiryuu Touga/ Saionji Kyoichi

I love this pairing, precisely for how terrible everyone involved is. Feel free to go dark—neither Touga nor Saionji really can do healthy relationships, can they?
What happens to them after Utena disappears, and the duelling game stops? What happens once they leave Ohtori (do they ever manage to leave Ohtori? Does only one of them manage to leave?)
Working in the movie canon is highly encouraged. Both in the sense of ‘what if Touga was dead and/or a ghost’ or ‘jeez, child!Saionji’s desire to be like/to be mature like Touga has some dark implications there.’
For art: Kendo sparring

Kiryuu Touga/Ohtori Akio

I love-to-hate the dynamic between these two. Touga seems to think he’s getting one up on Akio, that he’s out manipulating a manipulator… and he’s really not. (Which makes sense considering his movie backstory, but that really only makes it more painful.) I think it’s a fascinating dynamic, and I would like to see more of it. I would also like to apologise to any potential writers, for not being able to give a more specific prompt for this!
For art: I’d love to see art of them in the car together.
DNW clarification: I’m of the opinion that the photography scenes were definitely sex. I do not wish this to be detailed ‘on screen’ in a fic. Implications, fade-to-blacks, and having the unshown scenes affect the plot are A-OK, however.

Kiryuu Touga/Saionji Kyouichi/Ohtori Akio

Feel free to smush the above prompts together. My feelings about the threesome version of this ship are pretty similar to my feelings about the ships it is made up of.
I just love the chain of unhealthy manipulative badness going on here. Touga thinks he’s getting one up on Akio when he really isn’t, and has dragged Saionji into it. Saionji is slowly realising that Something Is Not Right Here but not fast enough, and Akio is just pleased to have more power over more people. It’s generally un-good and weird for all parties. Except maybe Akio. He’s probably having a great time of it.
DNW clarification: I’m of the opinion that the photography scenes were definitely sex. I do not wish this to be detailed ‘on screen’ in a fic. Implications, fade-to-blacks, and having the un-shown scenes affect the plot are A-OK, however.

Tian Guan Ci Fu/Heaven Official’s Blessing

I love the larger-than-life worldbuilding that spans over centuries, and the entire cast of larger than life characters. I love all the characters, I can’t think of any I dislike. (I mean, I love-to-hate White No Face, but that’s very different from disliking him 😉).

Hua Cheng/Xie Lian

The devotion! Across a ridiculous amount of time, and to a ridiculous degree! I love it! Hua Cheng’s “I will do/be whatever Xie Lian wants” is potentially concerning, but it’s balanced out by the fact that Xie Lian is very much on team “Hua Cheng should get to be himself and get to be happy.” But I love the dynamic deeply.
I’d be really interested in hurt/comfort with these two. They’ve been through so much, and they deserve good things (even if they maybe have to go through some added bad things to get there.) I’d be happy with either (or both of them at the same time) being the hurt one or the comforter.
- I’d be particularly interested in post-nightmare comfort, if you would like to write that.
Art: I’d be interested in drawings of any of the shippy moments in the books (or shippy moments you came up with!)
- Things like chapter 190 or Wuming’s existence count as shippy to me, if you’d like to make something darker.

Xie Lian/White No Face

I love characters trying to corrupt other characters. And White No Face gets so deliciously close with Xie Lian. But I also love the antagonism. Xie Lian tries so hard, does his best to resist, meanwhile White No Face is trying to traumatise him to make him become him. It’s great, and I love it.
I imagine that during Xie Lian’s second banishment, he still occaisionally had run ins with White No Face, and I would potentially be interested in fic of one of those times. He’s way less powerful and way less lucky, and he’s already been traumatised by White No Face—any run ins would be horrible for Xie Lian (but probably very fun for the reader! 😉)
For art: I’d be interested in art of any other their confrontations, or chapter 190, or White No Face creepily comforting Xie Lian about a thing he did.

Yushi Huang/Pei Ming

I love the dynamic they have, where Pei Ming just doesn’t not know how to deal with her. He doesn’t know how to deal with the ‘whole killing herself to satisfy his threats and then ascending thing,’ to the fact that she keeps rescuing them. I love the amount he blue screens around her.
I love the idea of a fic of Pei Ming slowly realising that he has a crush. The emotion he feels around Yushi Huang is an embarrassed and embarrassing crush. He is a good of love! He has flings, not crushes! And yet.
I’d also be interested in how aware Yushi Huang is of this ~situation. Is she completely aware, or does she just know that Pei Ming is uncomfortable around her and just assumes it’s because of him causing her near death.
For art: a drawing of one of the times that Yushi Huang rescued Pei Ming would be lovely!

Ling Wen/Pei Ming

Two out of three of the tumours! I love the way they work so well together!
I know the fact that they react so negatively to rumours that they are in a romantic relationship doesn’t sound like a plus to a ship, but hear me out, it is to me. Ling Wen has got to be so aware of her reputation, and any implication that she got her status through sex or romance would sink it. Pei Ming has his reputation as a love-em-and-leave-em skirt chaser. They work closely together. And so the only way to maintain Ling Wen’s reputation is to shut down any implications quick smart—whether they are/want to be in a romantic relationship or not. And I love ships that can’t be together for good reasons, it’s my jam.
I’d be interested in either established-but-furtive relationship or pining for these two. Either is good. (And with pining, you can add Pei Ming having to deal with the strangeness of him *pining for someone else.) (But with an established relationship, you’ve got the risk of being caught, and having to have a distinct different between your public and your personal relationship. You see why I say both is good?) -For art: Furtive, hidden kisses when no one else is looking. Longing gazes.

Yushi Huang/Ling Wen

I love how they are both super good at what they do, even if what they do is not super flashy or obvious. You might not notice when bureaucracy and agriculture is going well, but you are super going to notice if they are going poorly. And I think that would help them get along. They both know what it’s like to work in the background. And they’re both relentlessly practical!
Unfortunately, despite how much I like this ship, I don’t have any specific prompts. Sorry!
I’d be interested in getting together fic for these two.
For art: them being affectionate, getting to relax.

Rain Master’s Ox/ Yushi Huang

I love loyalty and devotion, and I love how Yushi Huang went to rub a unloved door knocker, and when she ascended it became a person, who was then her right hand man. That is some real fairytale romance, and I love it.
I love how relentlessly practical they both are, too. It’s such a fun dynamic
For a more specific prompt for art or fic, I’d love to see them working together doing agriculture-y things, or maybe relaxing after a hard day’s farming.

Shi Qingxuan/He Xuan

Identity... shenanigans seems to light-hearted to describe the situation! But oof. So good. The horror of finding out your friend was someone else the whole time, and you’ve wronged them... oooof.
I’d be particularly interested in fic or art of the time where he was pretending to be Ming Yi and Shi Qingxuan ~befriended him. It’s so deliciously fraught. One of your targets just declares themselves to be your friend, and then they keep dragging you into hijnks/scrapes/etc, while you have to keep your cover. (Which isn’t too hard, no one really knows the original Ming Yi, and no one has recognised your face, but it’s... a risk). And the potential dramatic irony. And all of this is heightened if there is an actual romantic relationship going on!
- Also, I just really like the dynamic between Shi Qingxuan and “Ming Yi”
For art: Shi Qingxuan dragging “Ming Yi”, semi-unwillingly, into hijinks. Or them being affectionate. Both is good :D
I have a soft spot for trans woman or genderfluid interpretations of Shi Qingxuan, and some-form-of-nb interpretations of He Xuan. You don’t have to include that if you don’t want to or it doesn’t fit in your/art fic, but if you want to, go for it!

We Know The Devil

I love the character dynamics in this, and the ambient suckitude going on in their lives (excluding after the True Ending), the huge personal revelations happening in the middle of the night at summer camp. I also love the nightmare-logic Protestantism going on. As someone who likes bad things happen to characters that maybe get made better, and religious themes, this is very much a canon made for me! And did I mention the characters? I love them all, especially Venus. They are the best worst girls. I love the layers to them, and how they are all more than what they initially seem to be. There all observant, and they care deeply about wrong and right, but they don’t necessarily have the power to change things (until the true ending, that is.) And they all need a hug. I am quite happy for fic or art based on any of the routes/endings.

Venus/Jupiter

I love the dynamic they have as the ‘best’ kids of Group West, who are really bad at being actually good. They may seem more good from the outside than Neptune, but... And the Seven Minutes In Heaven scene, with it’s horrible awkwardness and the tension between what they want to want and what they actually do and the near strangulation is so good. As is the conversation they have about authority and not having to touch someone to touch them.
I love the idea of them going “I have some of a crush on you, but it feels like I shouldn’t?” and then after the yellow or true ending going “...ah. that would explain it.”
I’d be into post canon fic, either for the true ending or one of the coloured endings, where they try and work out what it means for them and their relationship now that one or more of them has become the devil.
For art: chilling and being affectionate at camp, either before or after the true ending.

Venus/Neptune

Just as Venus+Jupiter is the better kids vs the bad kid, Venus+Neptune is the bad kids vs the good kid who failed, and that’s so good. And I love how insightful they are with each other even if they don’t fully get it (eg the “your kindness will be full of that want” conversation, while Venus is trying to comfort Neptune as best she can.) And the contrast between rule breaking Neptune and “That’s! I’m! Illegal!” Venus is so great too.

I love them all, and I love them all being in a relationship. The way they work together, the way in the true ending they all lift each other up and try to make the camp/the world a better place, being the worst girls since Eve... It’s so good, I love it.
I’m a big fan of post true ending fic, where they have to work out how to handle their new lives and way of living—or just relax and enjoy it. I’m a big fan of become devils solving a whole lot of their problems, but not meaning that they’ve completely lost their baggage from before. But also I like them having a good time. Either is great.
For art: relaxing together, maybe in a cuddle puddle (or as much as one can be when one is a formless eldritch entity), after the true ending.
