I am about 90% of the way through editing my original f/f arranged marriage novel! I would like to celebrate that! It’s an achievement!

I would also like to let you all make some decisions.

A. Early Access

Do you like the idea of a story about an amoral and snarky embroidery mage getting married to a scrupulous cavalry general on short notice in an attempt to stop a war? Do you like the idea of someone pining… after their own wife, while their wife tries to seduce them… despite them being married already? Do you like trans protatogonists as a reason for f/f arranged marriages, ridiculous amounts of emotional horse riding and/or lesbians making spectacularly terrible political decisions? Do you like explicit romances?

Have you longed for the chance to take a red pen to a draft and have an author thank you for it? Or an excuse to tell an author you liked a thing, and then get them to Increase The Thing? Are you the sort of person who would want to do this For Fun*?

*Or promise that I return the favour for you, or some other proportional favour.

B. Polls!

With a major milestone in sight, I am probably going to take a break from the novel for awhile once I’ve got this draft finished.

Which means I’m going to work on some other projects for awhile. I’m putting the projects to a vote. Feel free to vote for more than one thing.

1. The original f/f VR streamers in not-a-death game, with fun subculture clashes and the dynamics of having to perform for an audience.
2. H/C for Jing Yi from the Imperial Coroner
3. Silmarilion longfic of “what if Celebrimbor was a survivor of Angband” with making tools to interact with the world, musings about power and disability, and motivating yourself to fix the world by trying to make things better for yourself.
4. Write a minific for each Baldur’s Gate 3 Tadfools femslash ship
5. Write a minific for each Baldur’s Gate Wyll/Tadfool ship
6. Write Drizzt Do’Urden H/C, because he simply hasn’t been whumped enough in canon, apparently.
7. Somehow, despite being big into H/C and also exchanges, I have not actually ever signed up for the Hurt Comfort Exchange.
