I consume too many media's yesterday

I just watched Deadpool and Wolverine and had an unseemly good time. Was it multiverse schlock trying to be ironic about it? Was it a spectacle of gratuitous comedy violence? Was it actors having a moment about the power of acting, the way novelists do approximately all the time? Was there an epic orchestral cover of a Madonna song about blowjobs? Yes on all counts. But I enjoyed myself.

(The actors thing: there was a lot of it that was about "You spent a lot of time getting into the head of this special little guy, you put in so much effort being that special little guy, and then no one appreciated your special little guy like you did, especially the executives, and you want a do over.")

Also the orchestral cover once again made me frustrated that I am a novelist, and thus I can't put an over the top orchestral version of a song at the climax to manipulate my audience!

This, for reasons that make sense in context, reminded that I really want to make something that's mad Max but with horses instead of cars.

I HAVE FINISHED BALDUR'S GATE 3

I very literally flapped my hands and squeed during the epilogue, and that's a rare thing for me.

There's so many feelings, and a lot of them are end game spoilers, that I'm not sure what to say. I can, however, say: GOOD GAME!
