So, this past few weeks has been cursed, both work wise (fire, nearly falling off a cliff, CLOSER FIRE, vehicle breakdown) and in the world generally (eg the antisemitic terror attack in Australia. Which. I don't really have words for other than 'tragic' and 'I really wish it hadn't happened.').

But! Today I shall see family, and the Northern Hemisphere can take some of their daylight back, and hopefully things will improve.

Are you sure you didn’t take a wrong turn on that cattle drive and end up in Hell by accident? Because it sure sounds like a fucking week.

That makes as much sense as our current theory that our hubris angered Zeus (see: the two fire incidents, the fact that the cliff incident was ~caused by a fire, which were all caused by lightning...)
