[personal] So, there's this event that happens every Saturday evening. I go there every Saturday when I am not at work. It's how I met most of the friends I have in [the city I moved to a few years ago] especially the closer ones. (Pretty much all the people I could ask for a hug go to this event.) This event is where I get to see them.

The venue for this event just shut as of two days ago. The event runners are understandably throwing in the towel.

So. No more of this event. No more easy way to see the majority of my friends.

(Making this worse: last Saturday I had a migraine coming on and I went 'look, no sense trying to power through it, I can always come next week.'

Also, tonight is the farewell dinner for another friend in another circle, a large number of which are all migrating to another city.)

I feel. very lonely.
