Date: 2019-07-31 10:14 pm (UTC)Ooh, that's a tricky one. I'd probably say it was Terrible People Tea Party, because that was written as an excuse to have way too much fun with dialogue.

I am touched by basically all of thearrogantemu's (aka the original author's) comments on my podfic of These Gifts You Have Given Me, but I still wiggle with excitement whenever I read this one "You do confrontations SO WELL. The semi-argument between Celebrimbor and Galadriel ("The air of Angband, Aunt?") came off beautifully; you did such a good job of conveying Celebrimbor growing less and less restrained as he talks about a topic that touches him very deeply. And the way you read the dance scene was so vivid!" because heck yeah I'm good at confrontation scenes.

I find it really hard to write without the right background music. It has to be instrumental, and simultaneously have a distinct feeling but still get out of the way. I find a lot of Griffin McElroy's music works really well for that.
