Guess who made the mistake of going to the doctor with a cough (which is almost certainly asthma! that was why I was going) + a slightly elevated temperature (which is a mystery, I'll grant) + "I am a student, I have no clue if I've had contact with anyone who's been overseas"

Guess who's know stuck at home for the next "?" mark days, until they get the test back (which will almost certainly be negative!)

Guess who's in a bit of an "infinite screaming" mood?

Ugh, I'm sorry. Hoping you don't have coronavirus and you'll get your results soon!

Though honestly it's good that you *can* get tested. I have a cough/sore throat that I think is just a cold, but testing is limited here to people who are actively really sick or have been in contact with a confirmed case, and I'm trying to figure out how stringently I should limit my contact with other people when I have no way to confirm or deny whether I've got it.

Thanks! I don't have a fever and I'm not actually feeling sick besides the cough, which is why I think I don't have it, but it's just like, who knows? Not me.

Oh noooooo D: Do you have access to online classes or something to pass the time? AS far as I know the current recommended period is 14 days, which might go down to 7 if you show no additional symptoms, they're still trying to figure out the transmission period.

I don't have access to online classes as of right now (though the general feeling is 'give it a week'), but I do have a tactical nuclear supply of homework to work on.

At the moment it looks like I'll just be stuck at home for 3 days, thankfully (ie, about the time it takes to process the test. It is fairly unlikely for me to have gotten covid.)

Honestly, panicking ain't worth it, but I'm glad you've got something to keep yourself occupied and aren't forced into getting hit with a wall of things-you-didn't-do-while-quarantined.
