I realise that this is a problem that it's not likely anyone has an answer for, but it's worth a shot.

My phone has always been on the edge of running out of storage space, and it's been getting worse over time. I've finally found out why: the Outlook app. That thing is like 300MB!

Does anyone know of anyway to make the Outlook app for Android smaller/take up less space/use less data/something along those lines? Alternatively, does anyone know a Android email app that is lighter weight and plays nicely with Outlook emails?

At the moment I'm just using Yahoo's and Gmail's own apps, and I have no desire to access my Outlook (school) account on Android so haven't looked into that one specifically. But since Outlook is among the more popular email providers, most email clients can handle it. (*Including* Yahoo's and Gmail's!)

Depending on how much you value storage space vs how much you value having email archives accessible through offline Android, you may also be able to tweak some settings to have your email client store less of your email history locally, such as "only the last month".
