Heaven Will Be Mine

I've just finished Heaven Will Be Mine! It's an f/f dating-sim-visual-novel-thing focusing on three women fighting for the future of space. In giant robots. (Because what else would you fight for the future of space with?) It's got awesome music, a stylish presentation, one of my favourite kinds of worldbuilding ("We're gonna use a word you know, but with a different meaning than you are used to, and you have to work it out from context,") and I love all the characters. My favourite is Luna-Terra, but it is a close run thing.

(If you do end up playing, some pieces of non spoilery advice, from least important to most important: - Play Saturn first, she is the one who causes the inciting incident. - Generally the story works better if you don't betray your own faction, and it makes it easier to keep track of what chapters you have played. - Play Pluto last. Her story still makes sense if you played her first (that's what I did), but it is a bit ~richer if you have the context.)
