wolffylunaI think this is a problem that comes up at least once in a writers life, and it is just my turn with it, but--
I have a story idea. This story idea would make sense being told from the point of view of either of the two characters that are in it. The story would have a different ~emotional tone to it depending on which POV it is in, but both would work (for example, one character’s conflict is much more ‘...why is [other character] trying to act like this is unimportant, while it is very obvious they consider this to be super important? Why are they doing that?’ meanwhile the other character is going ‘NO ONE CAN KNOW MY SHAMEFUL SECRET. LEAST OF ALL MY WIFE’).
And the only way I can think to pick is to write both, and see which I like better.
(...only problem is there is a good chance I will like both, and won’t be able to pick.)
