I have recently discovered videos where people read botnik generated text, and they are hilarious. If my understanding is correct, botniks are programs that have been trained on source texts like a neural net, but instead of coming up with new text all on their own, they work more like predictive text, giving a few suggestions, which a human writer then picks between. So you get the random hilarity of neural nets trying their hardest, but with some structure supplied by the humans.
